View Guitar Chords for Watch you for hours - chords ver. 1
This is off of their self-titled album 32 Below. One of my favorite songs so I figured I'd tab it out for you. This is just my interpretation of the song, but I'm pretty sure its accurate. Standard tuning to play with the recording, although I like to play it half a step down. Intro Riff: The intro riff is short and quick, but fairly easy to master. E ------3-2--------------------| B ----------3-2----------------| G -----------------------------| D -----------------------------| A -----------------------------| E -----------------------------| (I usually hammer off on the E string and slide on the B string) Chords: (INTRO RIFF) D A Bm A G A DDWell I can see you Apicking flowers Bm And I can see you tAalking with our friends G All day long, Awhen ever I waDnt I can see you time Aand time againD No matter how muAch we're apart Bm You're always with meA in my heart It's your Gfaith in me, Dyour beautiful smile G A* That make me love you the way I doI can watch you for GhourAs with my eyes Dclosed When I'm Gout on the road AI'm never Dalone I'm Gwalking with you Ahand in hand D* A* G* But there's only one set of prints in the sand I can watch you for GhourAs with my eyes DclosedDI bought these Apearls for you Bm That diamond Aring was new G Ten years agoA when we first said ourD vowsD Its been two years Asince you've passed on Bm Wishing you were here but IA know you're gone Still Gsitting here Dall alone G Gotta find the strength Ato finally move onI can watch you for GhourAs with my eyes Dclosed When I'm Gout on the road AI'm never Dalone I'm Gwalking with you Ahand in hand D* A* G* But there's only one set of prints in the sand I can watch you for GhourAs with my eyes DclosedGWalking with you Ahand in hand D* A* G* But there's only one set of prints in the sand G* A* D* I can watch you for hou------rs with my eyes closed(INTRO RIFF)D(FAadBme oAutG) A D* = One Strum So thats about it. The last time through he drags out the word "hours" with a vocal run, you will have to listen to the song to get the hang of it. The riff is also played elsewhere in the song, and there's some hammers I didn't include, but the song sounds great played like this (The song is picked most of the way through).
