View Guitar Chords for Handbags and gladrags - chords ver. 2
This is a bit of a work in progress but I thought I'd post what I have so far. There is no rhythm guitar in this song, these chords follow the bass. This can be played in power chords and sounds fine but I think it would make sense to transpose it into A and play open chords with a capo on the first fret, however if you do this some of the chords sound 'off', suggesting that they are incorrect. I will post a revised version of this soon but to be honest I am a little bored with it right now. Of course any ideas/corrections would be very welcome Intro: Bb G# D# F X3 Verse 1:Bb Ever see a G#blind man cross the D#road, Ftryin' to make the other Bbside G# D# F Bb Ever see a G#young girl growing D#old, Ftryin' to make herself a BbbrideG# D# FChorus:Gm So what becomes of Fyou my loveBb, when they have finally Cstripped you of The D#handbags and the gladrags that your Fgrandad had to sweat so you could Bbbuy G# D# F babBby G# D# FVerse 2:Bb Once I was a G#young manD#, and all i thought Fi had to do was BbsmileG# D# F Bb You are still a G#young girlD#, and you Fbought everything in BbstyleD# FChorus:Gm But once you think your Fin your outBb 'cos you don't mean a Csingle thing without The D#handbags and the gladrags that your Fgrandad had to sweat so you could Bbbuy G# D# F babBby D# A# D#Verse 3:Bb Sing a song of six-G#pence for your D#sake, and take a bottle full of Bbrye G# D# Bb Four and twenty blackG#birds, in a D#cake and bake them all in a Bbpie G# D#Chorus:Gm They told me you missed Fschool todayBb, so what I suggest you just Cthrow them all away The D#handbags and the gladrags that your Fpoor old grandad had to sweat to Bbbuy D# Bb D#Chorus:Gm They told me you missed Fschool todayBb, so I suggest you just Cthrow them all away The D#handbags and the gladrags that your Fpoor old grandad had to sweat to Bbbuy yaG# D# FEnding: Bb G# D# F X2 Bb G# D# Bb
